In 2016, two alumni from the University of Auckland gathered together to explore the possibility of using drones to detect air pollution and to create air pollution maps with unprecedented spatial resolutions – so that small fugitive emission sources can be localized. After a number of successful trials using our prototype in 2017 & 2018, we decided to bring this prototype into a product named Sniffer4D, which is compatible with different types of aerial & ground vehicles. Since ther, we have been continuously refining our solutions to serve different industries and scenarios. Today, Sniffer4D is helping hundreds of users worldwide make more informed decisions.
